FACT : Falling from the roof is a specific concern at
construction sites. Roof falls were the most prevalent
type of deadly falls in 2007, and resulted in 686 fatalities
from 2003 to 2007. Because of this, the Department of
Labor recommends that construction workers avoid falling
accidentally, especially from roofs.
